Charlotte Eaton Thomas, a resident of The Harbor at Harmony Crossing in Eatonton, GA, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Born in Sparta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. Eaton and Imogene E. Eaton. Charlotte was a graduate of Greensboro High School, Class of 1965. She spent a significant part of her life in Panama City, Florida, before moving to The Harbor in her later years.
Charlotte was married to the late David Thomas of Panama City. She is survived by her daughter, Stacey, from a previous marriage, and two beloved grandchildren, Reilly and Addison. Known for her outgoing nature, Charlotte cultivated many friendships throughout her life and enjoyed spending time with and supporting her friends. She found great pleasure in activities such as going to the beach, travelling, bowling, and reading, but her greatest joy was loving her family.
Charlotte is also survived by her siblings: brothers Ennis Eaton of Newnan, GA, and Warren C. Eaton of Foxfield, CO; and sisters Cookie Robinson of Gainesville, GA, Roberta Duvall of Greshamville, GA, and Janice Kopp of Greensboro, GA. She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family extends its sincere gratitude to all her caregivers for the loving care and support they provided. We also wish to thank everyone for the visits, prayers, and love shown to Charlotte and her family.
